Hi! I’m Alexis,

I currently work full time as an LCSW remote therapist for an online insurance company. I live in San Diego where I attend Park Hill Church (would love to see you there!) where I serve in various capacities. And I am also a recent graduate from Western Seminary. So suffice to say I have a full schedule!

I came to faith in 2016 and since then have grown to love Jesus and the scriptures and have felt a pull towards teaching and leadership. Western Seminary has been a truly transformative place for me to know God more deeply and grow as a leader and follower of Jesus. I am still working out what all of this looks like moving forward now post-graduation, as I want to combine faith and mental health/wellness with ministry, but I am expectant with what God will do!

I am currently single and over the last year or so have been feeling less like this is just the life stage I am in and more like God has intentionally gifted me with living as a single for His glory. Hence, this blog :) I don't know how long this will be but I am trying to live it out well and lean into the truth of Jesus truly being sufficient. And honestly, I feel content and full in my singleness, which is not always the case and so I hope my thoughts and experiences in this blog can be helpful and encouraging. With that I have been blessed with a loving family and amazing friends who love to travel (All the photography on this page is mine and from my travels)! So, life is full and I am excited to share some of it with you.
